Lakhota Lake Jamnagar & Museum

One  of the most beautiful and quiet places in Jamnagar is Lakhota Talav. Due to the city's hustle and right in the middle of the bustle, the lake stands as a full picture of peace. It is also known as Ranmal Lake and is surrounded by the Lakkhota Fort, which is situated within an island. In the middle of the 19th century, the lake and palace was built by the king of Nawanagar of Jan Ranamal.



In the palace, archaeological museum consists of sculptures (9th to 18th century date), weapons and firearms, medieval age pottery from surrounding villages etc. Kilo is connected to banks through two routes.


New Lakhota Lake





Ranmal Lake is a major place of entertainment for the local people and is a tourist destination. Evening is the time when most people come to social and comfort. The lake that is being lit at night makes the whole place more attractive. There are many food stalls to satisfy your hunger and please your taste. A walking track has been built around the lake to give the walking track a delight to walk around the beautiful lake. There is a bench around the Lakhota lake to sit there and relax; Kamala Nehru Park, situated near an angled corner of palace, can also be rested and rested.
